Cards of Summer – Father’s Day

Father.  So many different definitions.  A male parent.  A man who has begotten a child.  The first person of the Trinity.  An old man (respectfully.)  One that originates or institutes.  A  leading man, as of a city.  Father’s Day is a day set aside to honor our fathers.

My dad has always been a good dad.  He’s smart and fun.  He taught us to play board and card games.  He helped us with our homework, protected us and gave me a love of math and computers.  I am very blessed!

This week, I want to share a Father’s Day card, that can hold a gift card.  This was REALLY fun to make!

I used Cashmere cardstock, White Daisy cardstock, “The Long Way Home” our stamp of the month set, Corner Rounder tool, Chalk Marker, “Say It All” stamp set (retired), and “For Family” stamp set.

Don’t forget, you can attend a workshop to make all 4 cards for June!  The next date is June 30.  (After Father’s Day, I know – we can change up the sentiment!)  Let’s have some fun together – 7 pm, my house in Dearborn, MI.  Or, you can order a KIT – pre-cut, pre-stamped, just put it together!

See you next week!  Kath*
